Obituary of Maria Andrews

Maria L. Andrews passed away suddenly on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the age of 33. Maria was born in Waltham. She was a lifelong resident of Burlington. She was a member of the Burlington High School Class of 2002. She furthered her education at Middlesex Community College and Bay Path College. She had a number of careers including medical assistant, customer service representative and the career she enjoyed most was that of manager at Olympic Catering. Maria had a warm and welcoming persona. Maria was a special person and loved by so many. Her family and friends fondly remember her beautiful smile, great sense of humor, a genuine kindness, and spirited soul. She saw the good in everyone and was always the funniest person in the room. She enjoyed music, seeing live bands, and going to concerts, especially loved going to Tom Petty with family and friends. She was a great cook and always had a sense of style. Maria’s greatest joy was her son, William Robert Andrews. She adored every moment shared with him. She relished in watching him learn to crawl, take his first steps, say his first words, and seeing the world through his eyes. Maria was the loving daughter of Linda V. Andrews of Burlington and William Andrews, Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Pepperell. She was the sister of Kristina Linda Andrews of Burlington and Michelle D. Smith & her husband Ryan of Burlington. She was the special aunt of Julianna, Arianna, and Diana. She was the grandchild of Maria Apessos of Hingham, William Andrews of TN, and late Michael Apessos and Lorraine Andrews. She was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. There will be visiting hours at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, Burlington on Friday, March 24 from 10:30 to Noon. Followed by funeral services at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave, Woburn at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
