Obituary of Arthur Kenngott

Arthur H. Kenngott, a Retired Engineer from WR Grace, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Thursday afternoon, March 15, 2012. The beloved husband of 35 years of Mary T. (Hanlon) he was 86 years old. Arthur was born in Norfolk, VA. He was the son of the late Henry W. and Mathilde Kenngott. He was raised and educated in New York City and a graduate of Brooklyn Poly Tech. He was a veteran of World War II serving his country in the United States Army. Arthur went on to have a successful career as a Chemical Engineer working for WR Grace for over 22 years. Arthur was a past member of the Woburn Country Club where he enjoyed many friendships and playing in their golf leagues. He enjoyed playing bridge and gardening. Arthur and Mary enjoyed vacationing in Maine where they shared many wonderful memories. Arthur was the beloved husband of 35 years of Mary T. (Hanlon). Brother of Marion L. Sypniewski of Floral Park, NY and the late Gilbert. Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Sunday, March 18 at 1 p.m. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service from 12 noon – 1 p.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
