Obituary of Katarzyna Kasia'' Bajson-Ferrara

Katarzyna Bajson-Ferrara, “Kasia”, of Maynard, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Saturday, April 1, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 43 years old. Kasia was born in Warsaw, Poland and immigrated to the United States as a teenager. She was a graduate of Boston English High School. After High School, she attended Suffolk University where she earned a degree in biochemistry. Upon graduating she was employed as a research scientist at Wyeth (now Pfizer) and Correlagen Diagnostics. Kasia was the type of person that you would never forget if you ever met her. She had a sweet and caring nature about her that made it very easy for anyone to think only good things about her. Kasia leaves behind a legacy of memories to be treasured by her family and friends. Kasia was the beloved wife of Joseph Ferrara. Loving daughter of Wlodzimierz “Wally” Bajson & his wife Stefania of Dorchester and the late Barbara Bajson. Devoted sister of Agata Litra & her husband Roman of Braintree. Daughter-in-law of Frank & Fe Ferrara of Burlington. Sister-in-law of Christopher & Kristin Ferrara of Reading. An amazing Aunt of Caroline & Nicole Litra and Autumn, Maxwell & Carmine Ferrara and godmother to Caroline and Maxwell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington on Friday, April 7 at 10 a.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private.
