Obituary of Michael James Porter

Michael James Porter, 53, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Brighton following a long illness. He will be dearly missed. Michael was born in Winchester. He was a graduate of Woburn High School class of 1981. After high school he went on to have a career as a machine operator in the manufacturing industry. Michael was the beloved son of John & Irene (Boudreau) Porter. Loving brother of Linda, Brenda, John, Jr. of Woburn, Lisa Krier & her husband Daniel of WA and Mary Beth Porter of WA. Uncle of Christopher and the late Jarrod Porter, both of Woburn. Surrogate father of Frankie West of Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt., 128/95 Woburn side) on Monday, June 5 from 6-8 p.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Private burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
