4 PM TODAY
It's almost time to be together
to leave New England's unpredictable weather
to see your other half
catch up on things and have a good laugh
To feel that long lost love again
it's been too long and too much pain
you and Dad together are great
you've been so patient but it's been a long wait
We miss you both so very much
and we'll all miss your loving touch
the soothing love that was in your voice
and yet we have no other choice
We pray that you are now at peace
with hubby, sis, nephew and niece
you're now in God's Good Hands
so enjoy dancing with Dad to Heavenly Big Bands
So many memories we all have of you
one in particular, for me, keeps shining through
that's the look on the faces of both you and Dad
during the shortest 18 holes he ever had
That look of joy from both of you
I hope you both find it now anew
may you both share peace, happiness and love
and be well cared for by God above.
Rest in Peace... All my love forever.

"All My Life"
You've been there for me all my life,
From as long as I can remember.
I hoped this day would never come.
The time's become so tender.
As I sit here by your side,
I pray to God above,
Please take her home to Roger,
Her one and only love.
You've fought so long and now it's time
For you to have your rest.
Please know that as a Mom and friend,
You were the very best!
For all my life, I've loved you.
And now that it's God's will.
We will all forever love you,
As if the time's stood still.
So be at peace now Mom,
And don't worry about us here.
You'll forever be in our hearts,
Where we'll always hold you dear!
Love, Penny

I knew and loved Dot Melanson when I lived in Massachusetts in the 1980's. She was my "Mom" away from home. She took me under her wing and loved me while I hung out with my best friend Penny! I will never forget Dot and I know she is FREE and with her Maker as well as with her loving husband Roger. Dot will truly be missed! My prayers are with her loving family and friends during this difficult time!!
Much Love,
Becky Giggey

Mom
Heaven got an Angel today
We don't yet know what to say
She raised us as best a Mom can
I can't imagine any better Plan
She fought the good fight, like Roger her love
They're re-united, now and forever, Above
I'll miss her much, as will we all
but we'll meet again in God's Great Hall
Until that time we'll muddle through
and keep in our hearts, All the best of you.
Thank you Mom for being the best. Miss you so much already, we know you were "ready" to go to Dad but we could never be ready for you to go. Keep the party going until we join you all up there. All my love, Don

Dot was my Mother-in-law, but to me she was much more. I will miss her voice and the many stories she would share. She loved each one of us in her own special way. Please give my Mom and Dad a big hug from me. Be at peace now Mom and enjoy your new life up above. Our hearts are heavy but you and Dad are together again, and when I think of that a smile comes to my face.
Forever in my heart, Love, Laurie

My Aunt Dot was the most loving and giving person I have ever known. She was more like a mother to me than an Aunt. I will miss our talks. All those times around the kitchen table at 6 Dix Road. So many laughs, tears and good times happened there. We would have to start our goodbyes an hour before we planned on leaving her house! Seemed like it took that amount of time to say our goodbyes and to let everyone know how much we loved them! Dot and Roger will always have a special place in my heart. They made me feel so loved and they were the best role models. I would observe them so many times and knew that was the kind of relationship I wanted in my life. Because of them I ended up with the most wonderful husband. I will miss you so much Dot. You will always be a part of me. I will carry on your name proudly. We will be together again one day and will sit around a table telling jokes and laughing and just enjoying one another. Until then...I love you very much.
