You've been there for me all my life,
From as long as I can remember.
I hoped this day would never come.
The time's become so tender.
As I sit here by your side,
I pray to God above,
Please take her home to Roger,
Her one and only love.
You've fought so long and now it's time
For you to have your rest.
Please know that as a Mom and friend,
You were the very best!
For all my life, I've loved you.
And now that it's God's will.
We will all forever love you,
As if the time's stood still.
So be at peace now Mom,
And don't worry about us here.
You'll forever be in our hearts,
Where we'll always hold you dear!
