My Papa was hands-down one of the greatest men I’ve ever known, & I miss him just as much today, if not more ,as I did the day he left us. Most people couldn’t ask for a grandfather even half as amazing as he was.

Was looking up classmates and someone referred me to this site. I was shocked and saddened to learn this. Please send my condolences to his dear family; Ginny, Chuck, and Rick.
He will be greatly missed by many. Ironically, his death was a little over a year after Dicks. Remember the good times and my love to you all, inc. Bruce and Jeanne.

It has been 3 weeks now since my dad's passing. My brothers and I are getting back into the normal flow of our lives. As my brother said, reading all the stories and cards speaks volumes about the special kind of person my dad was. We were so blessed with the parents we have, both very special. I used to talk to my dad just about every day and I miss those conversations so much. The one thing that we can say is that he is with our mom now, which is where he wanted to be. He didn't want to grow old, be sickly. God took care of all of that. We will always miss both of them, but know we will all be together again someday. Thank you to family & all his wonderful friends and neighbors for your beautiful cards and support. And his friends from the ROMEO club, whom he thought the world of. Fred, from ROMEO, thank you for your phone calls. My dad loved and treasured your friendship. God Bless you all!

As difficult as this has been, reading all these entries and seeing all the people's lives he's touched is very warming and gives us great pride. You measure a man's wealth by the true friends. To have as many friends and told as many stories speaks volumes to the heart of this man. The pain will last a while. The stories will last a lifetime. We will always welcome stories anyone would like to tell. It keeps the spirit alive and is often funny too. Big shoes to fill.
Thanks to all for your heart-felt wishes.

You have our deepest sympathy for the loss of your Dad and Grandfather. The suddenness of his passing takes our breathy away. He always seemed bigger than life it self. He meant so much to so many people. We had a lot of good times together over the years with him. Many memories to cherish. One memory always puts a smile on my face. We were in Aruba, he was laying by the pool under our room which was 4 floors up - I poured a pitcher of water over the balcony and got him good. Made my day. He always said watch out for pay back which really scared me. We believe your Dad and Grandfather is in heaven now watching over a family that he loved so very much and was so proud of. Our payers and thoughts our with you during this very difficult time in your lives. Rest in peace our friend. Love, Jimmy and Ellen

We were so saddened to hear about Rick's passing. We met Rick and Carol when we began square dancing with the Yankee Twirlers in Woburn. He loved to laugh and really enjoyed pulling pranks on people. He was so young at heart. We seldom saw him without a smile on his face. His face would light up when he talked about his family. He will truly be missed. Our sympathies are with the family at this very difficult time. Rest in peace Rick.

Our very kind neighbor and friend, Rick is already sorely missed, deeply grieved. He was always ready for a friendly chat, had pockets full of dog treats, and loved telling stories about his family. We had a nice talk the day before he died, and he was delighting in the great weather for riding. Our prayers go out to his family; we're so very sorry for your great loss.

Rick, indeed, did love life and he was a dear friend. I met him with our ROMEO (Retired Old Motorcyclists Eating Out)motorcycle club and always looked forward to the "Give & Take" that went on with the "Crew" (I assure you you that Rick always had lots of the "Give" but also knew how to "take" his share. He always had funny stories or life experiences. We've had some great rides all over New England together. A group of us were just starting to plan a trip to the "Tail of the Dragon" in TN with a stop at the Harley plant in York, PA on the way back.
Rick will be with all of us on all of our rides. We all feel so terrible for our loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with Ricks family and friends in this very difficult time.

To the Rollins Family Son's and Daughter.....
Rick & I have traveled many miles together on our bikes, played golf, we were getting into the fishing season, and we just plain liked each others company whether it be coffee or lunch.... I will miss him dearly, and I know the hurt you all feel. Rick was a giant of a man in many ways, well loved by many, giving and happy go lucky to the end. Stubborn...

Rick's sudden passing is a loss to the Grenvale Drive neighborhood--all of whom knew Rick for his genuineness, his smile, his friendliness to all, including his love of dogs, who routinely got a treat upon passing Rick's driveway, where he would sit by the hour on a sunny day. He has been a fixture on this street and will be extremely missed. There will never be another here to take his place. Sincere condolensces to his very loved family.
