Obituary of Jannine Marie Harmon
Jannine Marie (Mundie) Harmon, a woman dedicated to her family and her faith, passed away at her home on Tuesday morning, August 8, 2017. The beloved wife of 32 years of Keith she would have celebrated her 60th birthday on August 21.
Jannine was born in Baltimore Maryland. She was one of six children born to William and Betty Mundie. At the age of 6 her family moved to Burlington. After they were married Jannine and Keith lived in Florida for a period of time and for the past 15 years they had been living in Woburn. Jannine devoted her life to raising her children and creating a loving home for her family. She had many interests. She was avid reader and enjoyed gardening. Jannine was a talented seamstress quilts being her specialty. Jannine loved the ocean and the beach. The years she lived in Florida were very special to her. Nothing gave her more peace and tranquility than a visit to the local beaches in Maine.
Jannine’s Faith was an important part of her life. She was an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Burlington where she was a member of the choir. The parishioner’s at St. Marks were like a second family to Jannine.
Jannine will be affectionately remembered as a kind and caring woman who had great love for her family, her friends and her faith. She will be greatly missed by all those lives she touched.
Jannine was the beloved wife of Keith L. Harmon. She was the loving mother of Joni Campbell & her husband Ed of Methuen, Zachary of NY, Lucas & Sadie of Woburn. Daughter of William & Betty Mundie of Port Charlotte, FL. Sister of Mark Mundie of Norton, Christine Lay of London, Paul Mundie of Indianapolis, Vivian Sardy of Melrose and Robert Mundie of Billerica. Daughter-in-law of Diane & Leonard Harmon of Woburn.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Burlington on Sunday, August 13 at 2:00 PM Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorials in Jannine’s name may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Attn: The Gregory Fund 10 St. Mark St. Burlington, MA 01803.
