Obituary of William E Carey
William E. “Bee” Carey, a man devoted to his family, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 1, 2017. He was 51 years old.
Billy was born in Winchester. He was raised in Burlington and a 1984 graduate of Shawsheen Tech in Billerica. “Bee” as he was affectionately called by his friends had a great sense of humor and always made his friends laugh. He had a large circle of friends. If you were Billy’s friend, you had a true friend for life.
Billy enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors. He loved golfing and fishing. He had a very close relationship with his Dad and they loved to go boating together with Cape Cod being one of their favorite destinations.
Despite the challenges he had with his disabilities Billy always had a great outlook on life. He was a devoted son to his parents and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. After his Dad passed away he was a constant source of comfort and love for his mom Rosemary.
Billy was the beloved son of Rosemary (Finnegan) & the late Walter J., Jr. of Burlington. Loving brother of Susan Thompson & her husband Keith of Glastonbury, CT. Proud uncle of Conor, Marykate & Callan.
