Obituary of Mary Margaret Boyd

Mary M (MacNeil) Boyd, a resident of Burlington for 60 years, passed away at the Wilmington Health Care Nursing Home on Monday morning, June 25, 2007. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Boyd was born in Nova Scotia Canada. She was the daughter of the late Angus and Catherine MacNeil. She was raised and educated in Wellesley Hills. She moved to Burlington in 1947 where she raised her family. She worked at Baird Corp as a Technician for many years. She enjoyed gardening and knitting. Mrs. Boyd devoted her life to creating a home for her husband and her two sons. Mrs. Boyd is the beloved wife of the late late James W. She is the loving mother of James W. of Brunswick, ME and Donald R. of Burlington. She is the sister of Ethel MacDonald of Wellesley and the late Harry, Roy and John MacNeil. She is the grandmother of Bonnie Loupe and Barbara Johansen both of ME. A visiting hour will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday, June 28 from 10 – 11 a.m. Followed by Graveside Services at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington at 11:30 a.m.
