Ismael M. Clavijo, a devoted husband and father, passed away on October 5. The beloved husband of Nelly (Sandoval) he was 75 years old. Ismael was born in La Paz, Bolivia. He was the son of the late Guilliermo and Marcelina Clavijo. Ismael was raised and educated in Boliva. He came to the United States for a brief period in 1998 and then returned to Bolivia. He returned to the United States in 2002 and lived in Woburn. Ismael had a great interest in sports with his favorite sport being soccer. Nothing gave him more pleasure than watching a soccer game. He was an honorable and a responsible man. Once he started a project he always finished it. He worked at the Crowne Plaza as a Houseman. Ismael was well liked and respected by his co-workers. He was a kind and hardworking man who was full of smiles and always helping others. Ismael will be remembered as a humble and honorable man who was always willing to help. Ismael was the beloved husband of Nelly (Sandoval). Loving father of Emigdio, Omar, Maria & Angelica. Proud grandfather of Stacey. A visitation will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON on Wednesday, Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. – Noon. Concluding with Funeral Services at the Funeral Home at Noon. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
