Obituary of Josette Hodgdon
Josette Hodgdon of Burlington, wife of the late Charles Hodgdon, daughter to the late Martha (Malsang) & Joseph Martin of France. Survived by brother Jacques Martin, and his wife, Arlette, of Cournon, France. Her nephew, Pascal Martin, and his wife Véronique, and their two children Virginie and Céline, of Clermont Ferrand, France; sister-in-law Louise and her husband Don Adams, and stepsons Charles and Scott Hodgdon, her beloved companion Joseph Ponticelli of Stoneham, and longtime friend and neighbor Helena Enos of Burlington. Josette (Jody) had a long career as a sales secretary at New England Life in Boston working for Mr. Brockerman, a career she thoroughly enjoyed for almost 40 years. She grew up in France, spending much of her time with her grandparents in the countryside, and was educated in England before moving to the United States. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the Burlington Council on Aging, Center St, Burlington, MA.
