Obituary of Robert W. Harvey

Robert W. Harvey, a lifelong resident of Burlington, passed away at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, on Wednesday morning, October 11, 2017. He had just celebrated his 61st birthday on October 5. Bob was born, raised and educated in Burlington, MA. Bob loved to drive and that led him to his career as a Truck Driver for Office Depot, where he worked for over 20 years. He enjoyed the daily interactions he had with his customers, always providing a joke and a smile with his deliveries. Bob greatly enjoyed traveling, driving to one of his favorite destinations; Sanibel Island. Here he would spend time every year with his cousin and traveling companion, Lillian, who also shared his interest in Native American History. Bob was very proud of his daughter Heather and all her accomplishments. Nothing pleased Bob more than being part of Heather's life. Bob will be remembered as a fun loving person with a great sense of humor who always had a smile on his face. Bob was the devoted and proud father of Heather Harvey of North Reading & her significant other Jacob Nicoli. Loving son of the late Gloria Claire and George Harvey. Loving brother of the late Paul and Lawrence Harvey. A Memorial Service will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt., 128/95 Woburn side) on Saturday, October 21 at Noon. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend, bright colors are encouraged.
