Obituary of Mary Anne LeRocque

Mary Anne (Grenier) LeRocque, a resident of Burlington for the past 10 years, passed away the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on Friday evening, July 13, 2007. She was 71 years old. Mary Anne was born and raised in Skowhegan Maine. She was the daughter of the late Amos and Eva (Vachon)Grenier. Mary Anne was a graduated of Shepard-Gill Nursing School in Boston. She had a very rewarding career in nursing working at both Somerville Hospital and Malden Hospital. Mary Anne lived for a period of time in Florida where she sold real estate. She had an interest in art and enjoyed painting. She enjoyed traveling and had taken trips through the world. Mary Anne was a woman of devout faith and attended the 9:00 Mass at St. Margaret’s in Burlington daily. Mary Anne had resided in Burlington for the past ten year where she made many friends through St. Margaret’s and the Senior Center. Mary Anne is the beloved sister of Joseph Grenier & his wife Nancy of VA, Anthony Grenier & his wife Valerie of Vassalboro, ME, John Grenier of Somerville, Joan & her husband Bob Celata of Burlington, and the late James W. Grenier and Mary D. Runnells. She is the sister-in-law of Stella Grenier of Wakefield and Beverly Grenier of Raynham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, July 17 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St. Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 6-8 pm. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
