Obituary of Keith L Harmon

Keith L. Harmon, a longtime Woburn resident, passed away from a long battle with cancer on November 16, 2017. He was 55 years old. Keith was born in Lowell. He lived in Billerica until the age of 8 and then his family moved to Woburn. He was a 1979 graduate of Woburn High School. He was employed at BAE in Nashua in their Shipping and Receiving Department. Keith married his wife Jannine in 1985. They made their home in Florida for many years and have resided in Woburn 15 years. He has always had a love of the ocean, spending summers as a child on the shores of Cape Cod. In this youth, he was very active in historical endeavors, including being a costumed guide at the Count Rumford House, in North Woburn, as well as a crewman on the Middlesex Canal packet boat, “The Colonel Baldwin”. Keith recently was involved with construction of a replica cannon, now displayed at the Rumford House. During his marriage years, he enjoyed the beaches of Florida and Maine. He was a homebody, who enjoyed working around his home and yard as well as spending time with his family. He was an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Keith was the beloved husband of the late Jannine (Mundie) Harmon. He was the father Zachary Harmon of NY, Lucas Harmon and Sadie Harmon both of Woburn. He was the stepfather of Joni Campbell (and her husband Ed), of Methuen. He was the son of Leonard and Diane Harmon of Woburn and brother of Scott Harmon of Billerica, Julie Dawson, Lori Wallace, and Lisa McCann all of Woburn. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Burlington on Sunday, December 10 at 1:00 PM Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorials in Keith’s name may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Attn: The Gregory Fund 10 St. Mark St. Burlington, MA 01803.
