I just wanted to send The Markey Family my condolences. My late father, Basil Marchi, was a Somerville Fire Fighter at Engine 4 and knew Chief Markey very well, and always spoke kindly of him. We, too, moved from Somerville to Burlington. I am sorry that I never knew that. Maybe we could have gotten them together. Rest in peace, Chief.
