Don Riley posted a condolence

Dear Donna and Family: Having been ill myself for the better part of the last six years, I was completely unaware of Jim's passing until I went to the ICBA website yesterday to read about the Hall of Fame induction. By looking at the pictures, and then reading a follow up email from Ralph Semb, I realized that Jim was one of the deceased inductees Ralph's email alluded to. I am very fragile these days and I simply broke down in tears. Jim was a wonderful person and a true friend. I last saw him at the tournament in Gloucester 2 years ago where he bowled so well and beat the pack. He talked to me about you and his very successful children; He was so proud of his loving family and referred to his daughter and son-in-law as a "power couple." I have extremely bad balance from a diabetic shock I suffered 5 years ago and my eyesight is poor because of diabetic retinopathy. I also had a TIA last December but came out of that quickly thank God. Nonetheless, my ailments pale when juxtaposed to what Jim and all of you endured. Please know that you and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers, Donna. Feast on the great memories and know that you will meet again in Heaven to spend eternity together. Your loving friend, Don Riley

I met Jim through Mettler-Toledo where I was buying machined parts from Olympic Systems.
Over the 10 years that I knew and dealt with him on a professional level, he became a mentor,
friend and confident. I learned so much from him and it has helped me in so many ways.
I will miss him dearly............he was truly one of the Good guys in life!
My last contact with him was on December 15th in a text, he took the time
to reply back to me, I knew if anyone could beat it ,it was Jim, unfortunately
and sadly this was not to be.....but he took the time to send me a text
to let me know how much he appreciated our friendship and the relationship we had
professionally...............
Now his family & friends have a Guardian Angel to watch over them.......
Thanks Jim...for everything!
