Obituary of Edna C Holloran
Edna C. Holloran, a woman of deep faith, passed away at Woodbriar of Wilmington Nursing Facility on Wednesday January 17, 2017.
Edna was born, raised and educated in Woburn. She was a graduate of Woburn High School and then went on to receive her associate’s degree from Burdett College. She worked for the B & M Railroad as a secretary for over 50 years. Edna loved to travel and had visited such destinations as Ireland and Rome.
For the past 20 years Edna lived in Lexington and was a longtime parishioner of St. Bridget’s Church in Lexington. Edna was a member of the choir and very active within the church community. For the past few years Edna was blessed to have her nephew Paul watch out for her and care for her needs.
Edna was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Holloran. She was the loving sister of Ann Began of Woburn, M. Ruth Harding of Woburn and the late Mary Oser, Jean McGgann Joseph & Thomas Holloran. Also survived by her nephew Paul Harding who was her caretaker and companion. Edna is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Services were private.
