Peter and I are very sorry to hear of the death of your mother, Anne. It is a pleasure to read about the generous spirit that she had, and about the many ways that she supported your community during her lifetime. Your parents had 50 years of marriage, and they raised a family in a loving community. May they remain in the community's memory as those who made a difference in other's lives.

My deepest condolences to the Flaherty and Richter families, especially St. Ursula classmate, Fran. What a most caring, loving and giving life Mary Carol "Kerry" lived.

Karen, Kelly, Sean and Anne,
Your Mom left you knowing she gave you everything you needed in this life.
She showed you how to be a caring and loving partner. After 50 years of marriage, she still shared such devotion, love and friendship with her husband. Her life, and heart, were intertwined with his.
Her family obviously meant the world to her. I can still see her face light up with joy upon seeing one of her grandchildren. She wanted what was best for her children (and wasn't afraid to speak her mind about it!). She gave you the meaning of family.... unity, strength, forgiveness, love, joy, laughter, and togetherness.
Her faith and belief in God never faltered, and she passed that faith onto all of you, so that you would find comfort in prayers and strength in God's love.
Your Mom is among the angels and always close by. Remember how she lived her life, as that is her gift to you. Live your best life in memory of her, and know that she is never far, and forever in your heart.
"Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion." ~ Psalms 103:2-4

Maricarol and I went to High School and College together. We also worked together at Fort Scott Summer Camp. Maricarol was a good friend. I saw her through the years at reunions and when she came home to Cincinnati for family visits. We shared many wonderful times. I wish to express my sincere condolences to her whole family for your loss. I know you are comforted with great memories of loving parents who are now taking care of you from their new home in God's peace. My prayers are with you.

Dear Flaherty Family,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all. I was so sad to hear about Mary Carol. She was a dear member of our bible study group in Arlington and we were just celebrating 10 years together. I feel blessed to have had all these years together to share our faith and lift each other up. She was wonderful about encouraging others. I learned a lot from her about the music at Mass. We will miss her great spirit, her laughter and her faith, especially so when we say the Memorare, which she had shared was her favorite of prayers.
May you feel God's love lifting you up through this time.
God Bless Mary Carol and all your family.
With prayers,
Andrea LaFrance and Family

Just Call On Me (By Karl Fuchs)
I can’t comprehend just how sad you must feel
For the loss of someone you love.
This sorrowful time must still feel unreal
And you’re looking for strength from above.
I hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease,
That your spirit will gain strength again,
And I pray that your faith will create inner peace
And that God will send blessings–Amen.
Till then, if you need me to lighten your load,
I’m waiting to come to your aid.
Just call on me, and I’ll walk down that road,
Until the dark times start to fade.
