Obituary of Marie R. Gilardi

Marie R. (DePrisco) Gilardi of Wilmington, March 3. Beloved wife of the late Americo R. (Robert). Cherished mother of Steven (Linda), Robert, Dana (Anne) all of Wilmington, Monte (Eunice) of Hyannis and Monica of FL. Doting Nona to Melissa (Gerard) Baer of Wilmington, Lauren (Seth) Gilardi-Bubar of Newton, NH, Denise (Doug) Chirichiello of Atkinson, NH, Christopher Gilardi, Jennifer Gilardi of Wilmington and Jay Kenney of Burlington. Also survived by five great grandchildren, in-laws, nieces and nephews. Longtime retired employee of the IRS, Andover. Marie lived her long life with grace, strength, humor and purpose, fulfilled by the presence and love of her family, to whom she was devoted. In lieu of flowers, Marie would be pleased to know a donation was made in her memory to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. “There’s no love like our mother’s love”. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington (Exit 34 off Rt., 128/95 Woburn side) on Tuesday, March 6 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Services and Burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery will be private.
