Obituary of Anna Jolly
Anna M. Jolly, passed away at the Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester, on Saturday afternoon, May 5, 2012. The wife of the late Richard Jolly and Fred Loscocco, she was 84 years old.
Anna was born, raised and educated in Woburn. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophia Carpinella. As a child living in North Woburn Anna worked at the family restaurant the Venetian Café which was popular gathering spot in North Woburn that sold pastries, sandwiches and pizza. Anna lived in Woburn for much of her life until moving to Burlington in the late 60’s. She worked at Goodway Printing in Burlington but her primary role in life was that of wife, mother and grandmother. Anna cherished her role of grandmother. Her grandchildren where the “apple of her eye”. Anna will be remembered as a sassy, feisty and loving woman who enjoyed life and being with her family and friends.
Anna was the beloved wife of the late Richard Jolly and Fred Loscocco. She was the mother of Richard Jolly & his wife Tracy of Woburn. Sister of the late Mary DelGreco, Joseph & William Champa. Proud grandmother of Edward Jolly of Woburn, Erica MacKenzie of Peabody, Elaine Dupuis of Tewksbury, Elizabeth Jolly & Samantha Jolly both of Woburn. Great grandmother of Stacy & Stefanie Dupuis and Gavin & Lyla Jolly. Mother-in-law of Beverly Jolly, Godmother of Karen Johnson & Aunt of Irene DelGreco all of Woburn.
A visiting hour will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, May 8 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church, 851 Main St., Woburn at 11 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
