Obituary of Charlotte A Lawrence

Charlotte A. (Doppler) Lawrence, passed away peacefully at her home in Lecanto, Florida after a long illness on April 10, 2018. Charlotte would have been 88 years old in May. Charlotte was the beloved wife of John W. Lawrence for 67 years. Together they settled in Burlington in 1963 while John served in the Army and was stationed at Fort Devens. John was a businessman in Burlington for many years and was a member of Burlington Rotary. They had many good times with friends and traveled for many years to Florida during the winter months and retired in Lecanto, Florida in 2001. Charlotte was born in Leoben, Austria on May 23, 1930.She traveled many times back to her homeland. In 2005, her Burlington family traveled to explore the many memorable places in Austria that she talked about frequently. Charlotte ''Mimi'' known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in North Andover chose to select just how important their ''Mimi'' heritage was to them demonstrating their ''Family Ancestry'' in school. Charlotte loved her many dogs throughout her life. Charlotte was a doting grandmother to her grandchildren and enjoyed having them every chance she could get. The children gave her so much joy throughout her life. ''Mimi'' will remain in our hearts with memories of the love and dedication she gave to her family. Charlotte was the loving wife of John W. Lawrence for 67 years. Beloved mother of Harald Lawrence & his wife Deborah of FL. Caring mother in-law to Pamela Lawrence Walker & husband Donald Walker of Andover formerly of Burlington for 32 years. Cherished ''Mimi''of Adam Lawrence, wife Christine and their children ''AJ'' Lawrence & Dylan Lawrence of North Andover and Kyle Lawrence of CA. Loving Grandmother to ''JR'' Lawrence, wife Shelby and their children Elise & Ashton of Florida & Taylor Lawrence & Matthew Moss and their children Emma and Zoey of FL. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
