I worked with Jim' at Marshalls during the 80's, my first job following college. He was easily the smartest and nicest guy in our group. His family should be very proud of him.

Kelly: I did not know your father, but I know his daughter so I know that he must have been a very good man. it is always so hard to loose a parent. We all must, some day, but it is painful all the same. I found a lot of comfort when my own mother, father, sister passed in thinking about the good times we had together, and the things they said to me now and then, in comfort sometimes and in disapproval also! So now, I try to carry them with me and, as I face small and large events in my life, I smile thinking of what they would say if they were there. Sometimes, it feels as if they are! Please let your daughters know that I wish them strength and courage through this sorrowful moment. And please know that I am thinking of you - and your husband also - but mostly you in the days ahead. Love courage and good health to you all. PdC

Mary and family,
When I joined Marshall's in the 1970's Jim was already involved in assuring new store openings were completed on time and efficiently. In his easy going, laid back manner he did his work quietly. As the years went by I learned a lot from Jim. I enjoyed working beside him as we traveled and explored the country having many adventures together for over 11 years.. It has been over 32 years since I last visited with you and Jim and I see that his legacy is well represented with a lot of kids, grandkids and an extensive family. I am sure all will miss his gentle manner. If you are ever in Green Valley, Arizona, give Carol and I a call; 631-1060; love to visit.
Peace and love, Dennis
