Jean was born in Cambridge. She was disabled at a young age and spent many years living in Fernald State School in Waltham. In 1974 she left Fernald and went to live independently in Woburn. Despite all her health challenges throughout her life Jean created a wonderful life for herself. Jean worked as a housekeeper for the New England Rehab in Woburn for over 20 years. During her retirement years she would walk down the street to the Yellow Cab Company and help with their housekeeping needs. Jean had many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and played a mean game of poker. Jean loved music and enjoyed playing her guitar and singing songs. She was a huge red sox fan. Jean enjoyed going out to eat and taking vacations with her friends. She was very thankful and appreciative for all that her friends and support staff did for her. She would always say “Thank You and God Bless You”. If you really made Jean’s day you would get her trade-mark “two thumbs up”.
Jean was the beloved daughter of the late Leonard & Margaret Cunningham. She was the twin sister of the late Joan Caido & her late husband Manuel Caido. Jean is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends at Nexus.
