Dear Rowena and Lynda,
I’m so sad to hear that your dad has passed on. Your dad loved his family, loved his faith and loved his country. I can always remember your dad walking up Taft street after getting off the bus and we would always exchange “hello’s”.

We'll all miss "Uncle" Leo!
Leo was always welcoming, cordial, and supportive. I saw Leo's great love for his wife and children first hand. Surely, there's a place in heaven for Leo.
"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him"

I was fortunate to know Leo when I worked at Council of Social Concern's Food Pantry, where he was a valued member of our "family" of volunteers. Although a volunteer, he took his "job" very seriously, always giving 100% dedication, commitment and conscientiousness, thereby enabling us to help countless people of need in our community. A man of few words, when he did speak, he graced us with his insight and humor. He was a lovely man, who inspired me every day with his kindness and quiet devotion to his faith, his family and to helping others. I am so saddened at the news of his passing and so very sorry for your loss.
