Obituary of Isabelle Georges

It is with big regret that we inform the passing of our beloved mother Isabelle Georges. She was born in Desdunes, Haiti on January 25 1953. In May 2016, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, then in February 2018 with lymphoma which she both fought courageously with dignity and grace until she finally succumbed on August 1st, 2018 at the age of 65 at Lahey Medical Center. She was the devoted wife to Baptiste Etienne; darling mother to Guyvhens Gros-Homme, Stanley Georges, Samuelle Sanon, and Guetty Etienne; charming grandmother to Nathanael, Guy-Varly, Cefora, Christopher, Christian, Elijah, Lovely and Schneider; loving sister to Claude Georges, Viergella Georges, Saméla Thomas, Rossignol Georges, and Dauphine Saint-Louis. Amazing aunt to her nephews and nieces. Visiting hours will be held from 4:00-8:00pm on Friday, Aug. 24 at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street Burlington, MA 01803. A funeral service will be celebrated at the Church of God located at 523 Main Street Woburn, MA 01821 on Saturday, Aug 25 at 9:00am. Burial will be in the Pine Haven Cemetery at 84 Bedford St Burlington, MA. There will be a post funeral reception at the Church of God right after the burial.
