Obituary of James E. Gosselin

James E. “Jim” Gosselin, of Manchester, NH, formerly of Haverhill and Burlington passed away after a long illness at his home in Manchester, NH on Thursday morning, September 6, 2018. The beloved husband of Evelyn (Lentz) he was 63 years old. Jim was born in Winchester. He was raised in Burlington. Jim was a graduate of Shawsheen Tech. He studied engineering at Northeastern University and had a long and successful career as an Engineer. He traveled the world with his career in industrial automation. Jim retired from GE Fanuc in 2007. Jim enjoyed puttering in his workshop, riding his motorcycle, RV camping, grilling and smoking meats and shooting at the range. Jim was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Lentz). Loving father of James E. Gosselin, Jr. Son of the late Edward & Margaret Gosselin of Burlington, MA. Jim leaves his beloved dog Abby “daddy’s little girl.” Brother of Pat Archer & her husband John of Kingston, NH and Dennis Gosselin & his wife Julie of Burlington. Jim also leaves numerous nephews & nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON, MA (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/95 Woburn side) on Tuesday Sept. 11 from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private.
