When Jackie and I met in April of 2015, I could not have imagined how close we would become, or how much she would mean to me.
She had a gift for sarcasm, which she would share without hesitation, and one of my greatest joys was caring for her and making her laugh.
When she didn't want to follow her doctors orders, she would tell me to go home, knowing that I was not going to leave, and that she would indeed do what she was supposed to do while I was there, but always hoping and trying to get me to change my mind and do it her way.
I will never pass a yard sale without thinking of her, and the pleasure I got watching her search for treasures.
Rest well "Jackie O". Life just isn't the same without you, and I will miss you forever. I look forward to hearing about your new escapades when we someday meet again. You will always be in my heart.
