I worked with Chuck at MITRE on Mission Planning for many years. It was my honor and privilege to work with such an intelligent, decent, patriotic, and fun man. My heart goes out to his wife, family, and friends for such a deep loss. I hope the memories of his kindness and humor sustain you in the years to come.

I am sorry to learn of the passing of Charlie. He was a fraternity brother of mine at Texas Tech A great guy to all of us in the fraternity. I have not seen him in years, the last time at a Tech homecoming, but I do not remember when that was. He was always thought so well of by all his fraternity brothers.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that God will comfort and sustain you. Psalms 34:18 says that He is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. He truly knows the pain you feel. He assures us at John 5:28 that a time will soon come when we will welcome back to our arms those we have lost. Know that time is very near. Allow God to comfort your soul until that day arrives. Please keep His promises close to your heart. I offer my deepest sympathies to your entire family.

Sorry to hear of Chuck's passing.
We worked together on some projects at the MITRE Corporation. Over several year's Chuck's desk was near mine; sometimes we shared office space. Chuck was a very knowledgeable engineer, with a ready grin. Always enjoyable travel companion on business trips.
But most of all, my wife Kay and I will never forget his (and Ann's) kindness in offering us a mountain retreat for our honeymoon, August 1990. We were there about a week and loved every minute of it.
Farewell good friend and fellow systems engineer; rest in peace.

I had the pleasure to work with Chuck and to call him friend. He was very good man who enjoyed life and the work he was doing. He brought his expertise to mission planning and helped the program grow technically. Chuck loved his family and liked to share stories of family life and their travels. I know many will miss Chuck and I hope memories will be of comfort.

Chuck was a friend and fellow employee at the MITRE Corporation. I knew Chuck for many years, and he was an excellent engineer as well as a great mentor for many other junior engineers over the years. As I'm sure others will note, he was so very friendly and down to earth, and sincerely cared for his co-workers. He had a unique zest for life. We on the Air Force Mission Planning program will miss him deeply and he will always remain in our prayers.

Speaking as a member of the B-1 mission planning development team at Northrop Grumman, it was always a pleasure working with Chuck. One would think that since Chuck was the monitor of the engineering aspects of the program that he would have had an adversarial relationship with us. On the contrary, it was quite the opposite. Chuck would always get to the root of the technical problems facing us and work with us to generate solutions rather than dictate the way to go. As a result, the program prospered and our respect for Chuck's advice and insight never waivered.
Chuck was one of the "good guys" we seldom meet in life, and his technical expertise and good nature will be sorely missed.
