Daniel J. Savoia, a resident of Burlington for 37 years, passed away at Blaire House in Tewksbury on Thursday evening, October 18, 2007. The beloved husband of 44 years of Marjorie A. (Undzis) he was 68 years old. Dan was born, raised and educated in Woburn. He was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Savoia. Dan was a graduate of Woburn High School and went on to further his education receiving a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Bentley College. He had a successful career as a Computer Programmer Analyst working for Commercial Union Insurance, which later became One Beacon Insurance. Dan also specialized in Taxes, Financial Advising, and Accounting. Dan enjoyed coin collecting. He was an avid Red Sox Fan. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Burlington. Dan was a past recorder for the club. Dan was the beloved husband of 44 years of Marjorie A. (Undzis) Savoia. He was the loving father of Diane & her husband Edward Surabian of Hudson, NH, and Denise & her husband John Buckley, III of Billerica. He was the brother of Ronald of Burlington, Janet Burke of Woburn, and Joseph of Woburn and grandfather of Melanie & Katrina Spillane, and Brianna & Brenden Buckley. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 11 a.m. Visiting hour Sunday 3-7 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
