She had resided in Burlington for almost 40 years and had spent the past 6 years in Westford. Meg had worked as the Office Manager at Concord Catering for 10 years. But she considered herself more of a “Professional Grandmother” to her immediate and extended family. The kids were the most important. She spent her days keeping up on their activities, watching some, and being their loyal fan at their activities and sporting events. She enjoyed music and was a loyal supporter of the Thayer Symphony. She enjoyed traveling. She loved animals, especially her cats. She was a big Red Sox fan, but an even bigger Bruins fan. She was always up to date on current events and loved to go out to lunch. She was a wonderful influence on all her family and friends. Meg is the beloved wife of Donald Johnson of Westford and the late Fredrick E. Wiggins. She is the loving mother of Karen Corliss of Leominister, and the late Doug Wiggins. She is the sister of Jack Buckley of Florida and the late Dr. Lillian A. Buckley. She is the mother-in-law of Glenn Corliss. She is the grandmother of Kristina & Katharine Corliss and Brian Winn. She was an honorary grandmother of Brittnay and Caroline Winn. She will be greatly missed by friend Melvin Parris. Brian’s Message to His Grandmother My Grammy was the best and will always be the best. Meg is gone but memories will stay with me forever. Gram went through a lot and had to endure a lot. She hung her head high and never complained. She was someone you could always count on no matter what the occasion was. Our Grammy was well loved and will be missed. The one thing I love about Gram is she is the one who inspired me to become a New York Fire Fighter. But now she is with Doug and Grampy where she is happy. She would not want us to mourn her death but to celebrate her life!
