Obituary of Elizabeth Hunt

Elizabeth Marie (Noyes) Hunt passed away after a brief battle with cancer at the Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT on Wednesday morning, March 22, 2006. She was 72 years old. Elizabeth was born in 1934 in Somerville, the daughter of the late Francis and Leila Noyes. She was raised and educated in Somerville and eventually settled in Burlington. Mrs. Hunt was a resident of Burlington for over 40 years. She had a strong faith and was a devoted communicant of St. Malachy’s and St. Margaret’s Churches. She was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed her many longtime Burlington friends. She had worked for 20 years as an operator at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. Mrs. Hunt was the beloved wife of the late John P. Hunt, Jr. to whom she was married for 27 years. She was the beloved mother of John F. Hunt of Burlington, Sandra B. & her husband Scott Randall of Glastonbury, CT, and Robert P. Hunt of Boston. She is the devoted grandmother of John Patrick Hunt, Stephen Joseph Hunt, Haley Elizabeth Randall, and Rachel Mary Randall. She is the sister of Larry Noyes of FL, Eugene Noyes of NC, David Noyes of W. Roxbury, Nancy Pino of Idaho, John Noyes of AL, the late Nora Strack, Ruth Erickson, Judy Bailey, Francis, Joseph, and Richard Noyes. She is the sister-in-law of William & Jane Hunt of Medford. She is also survived by 34 nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Saturday, March 25 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
