Obituary of Richard Ronayne
Richard J. Ronayne, a life long resident of Burlington passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 22, 2007 from heart failure. He was only 47 years old.
Richard was born in Woburn. He was a 1978 graduate of Burlington High School. He graduated from Coyne Electrical School and continued his education at Mt. Ida College. He was an extremely knowledgeable electrician and took great pride in his work. He worked for 20 years with MITRE Corporation. Over the years he also worked independently as well.
Richard loved the outdoors. He enjoyed ski-mobiling, hunting, fishing, skiing, and motorcycles. He was a perfectionist when it came to his trucks. He enjoyed spending hours maintaining washing and waxing his trucks, motorcycles, and ski-mobiles. Anything Richard worked on was done well and with pride.
Richard was the beloved son of Daniel R. Ronayne of Haverhill and the late Ann (Harrington) Ronayne. He was the brother of John J. of Quincy, Daniel R. Jr. of Burlington, Regina M. Skinner & her husband Bob of Tewksbury, and Kathleen A. Capobianco & her husband Bruce of Burlington. He was the nephew of Helen Keith of Woburn and uncle of Sara, Brian, & David Capobianco, Christopher Ronayne, and Joshua Morgan.
Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, Dec. 28 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
