Obituary of Arthur Therrien

Arthur A. Therrien passed away at the Walden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Concord on Monday, January 7, 2008. The husband of the late Grace (Vallarelli), he was 89 years old. Arthur was born in Natick. He was the son of the late Samuel and Ida Therrien. He was raised and educated in Wayland. He was a Veteran of World War II serving his country in the United States Army. Arthur and his family made their home in Lexington for many years. He worked as a Truck Driver for the Teamsters Local 25. After his retirement he moved to Florida where the lived for 31 years. He moved back to Massachusetts in 2003 and settled in Woburn for the last four years. Arthur had a very full life. He enjoyed golfing, dining out in restaurants with family and friends, and traveling. He had visited such places as Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and had enjoyed a wonderful trip to Disney with his family. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for them. Arthur is the beloved husband of the lateGrace (Vallarelli). He is the father of David Therrien, Arthur Therrien, and the late Anthony Therrien. He is the brother of the late Rita Charbonneau. He is the grandfather of Maria Gonzalez of Burlington and Melissa Martel of Lexington. He is the great grandfather of Gabriella and Alexander Gonzalez, Christopher, Matthew, and Sophia Martel. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington on Friday, Jan. 11 at 4:00 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. F
