Obituary of John Paulson

John Paulson passed away at Wingate of Haverhill on Sunday morning, January 13, 2008. The husband of the late Betty Louise (Anderson) he was 81 years old. John was born, raised and educated in Brockton. He was the son of the late Frank and Anna Paulson. John was a veteran of World War II serving his country in the Navy. John went on to further his education graduating from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with degrees in Marine and Electrical Engineering. He had a very successful career working as a Quality Control Engineer at General Electric in Lynn where he worked until his retirement. His retirement years were spent in Amesbury and Winter Haven, Florida with his wife Betty whom he was married to for 58 years until her death in 2006. John is the beloved husband of the late Betty Louise (Anderson). He s the loving father of Darlene Paulson of Andover and John B. Paulson & his wife Sandy of Amesbury. He is the devoted grandfather of Cara Edwards, Melissa Locher, and Kirsten Paulson. He is the great grandfather of Elijah & Jonah Locher. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fellowship Bible Church, 71 Center St., Burlington, MA, 01803. The burial will be private. Memorials in John’s name may be made to your local church music ministry.
