Obituary of Patricia Shea

Patricia M. Shea died on Thursday morning, March 27, 2008 in Lowell surrounded by her family and friends, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 49 years old. Pat was born in Winchester, the daughter of Eileen Shea and the late Charles Shea. She grew up and was educated in Burlington. She served in the U.S. Army. In her younger years, Pat was an exceptional athlete playing softball, swimming, and especially enjoyed playing with the Burlington Rag Dolls Women's Hockey Team. Prior to her illness, Pat was employed with the U.S. Postal Service and the Internal Revenue Service as a clerk. Pat was loved by her many nephews and nieces and she enjoyed spending special times with all of them. Pat was the daughter of Eileen (Clifford) Shea of Burlington and the late Charles Shea. She was the loving sister of Charles L. Shea of Burlington, Brian P. Shea & his wife Janet of Lowell, Maureen E. & her husband Stephen Doyle of Woburn, Michael T. Shea of Boston, and the late James J. Shea. She was the sister-in-law of Sharon Shea of Coral Springs, FL. Pat will be greatly missed by her long time friend Lynn Walsh of Woburn.
