Obituary of Jane Beaudoin

Jane Theresa Beaudoin, a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at her home on Sunday morning, July 27, 2008. She was 78 years old. Jane was born in Medford, the daughter of Irish immigrants, the late Daniel & Bridget Elizabeth Sullivan. She grew up in Medford and was a graduate of Girl’s Catholic High School in Malden. She married her husband Les and lived in Malden for 22 years, raising her 5 children. Jane took great pride in maintaining her home and caring for her children. Her home was filled with love and laughter. Jane’s kindness, positive outlook, and sense of humor could brighten anyone’s day. She even faced her own death with faith, courage, and some levity. Jane had a number of interests. She enjoyed talking and visiting family and friends. She loved to shop. She enjoyed going on day trips and long car rides. She enjoyed Cape Cod. She just enjoyed having fun. She was a significant part of her children’s and grandchildren lives. She cherished the time spent with her family. She will lovingly remembered. Jane was the beloved wife of over 50 years of the late Lester J. “Les” Beaudoin. She was the loving mother of Robert D. Beaudoin of Winthrop, Maura C. Taylor of Burlington, Janet M. Beaudoin & her spouse Jana Kaplan of Saugus, Margaret “Peggy” McGarry & her spouse Richard of Pepperell, and the late Paul G. Beaudoin. She was the sister of Margaret & Mary Sullivan both of Harwich, Joan Walsh of Woburn, the late William and Catherine E. Sullivan. She was the proud grandmother of Rob, Steven, Matthew, & Megan Beaudoin, Erin, Mark, & Melissa Taylor, Aimee, Michelle, and Richie McNairy. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday, July 31 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington. Memorials in Jane’s name may be made to Rosie’s Place, 889 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118, www.rosies.org.
