Obituary of Lynda Graham-Meho

Lynda Ann Graham-Meho, a health educator and devoted family person, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Thursday night at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was 57 years old. Lynda was born in Rochester, NY. She grew up and was educated in Schenectady, NY. She was a graduate of Linton High School, Hartwick College, and Boston University’s School of Public Health. Lynda worked for the Department of Public Health as a Health Educator in Tewksbury. She had previous worked with the Fernald School as their Aquatics Director, American Cancer Society, and the Town of Belmont’s Health Department. Lynda’s life centered around her faith and family. She was an extremely active member of the Presbyterian Church of Burlington where she taught Sunday school, served as a Church Deacon, and was a member of a number of committees within the church. She had a great strength and faced her illness with courage. The other focus of her life was that of family. Lynda always placed her family first in her life. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, and wife. She was a caring and proud mother. She supported her children’s activities and interests with vigor. She was very proud of her children’s achievements in basketball, soccer, and swimming. She was their number one fan. It did not matter how she was feeling, her priority was her family and their needs. Lynda also had a number of interests including playing the piano, crafts, gardening, and sewing. She even designed and sewed her own wedding dress. She will be lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. Lynda was the wife of Mohamad Meho. She was the loving mother of Timothy and Amina Meho both of Burlington. She was the daughter of Dorothy Graham of Schenectady, NY, and the late Dr. George William Graham. She was the sister of David Graham & his wife Sandi of Glenville, NY and the late Susan Skvara and sister-in-law of Michael Skvara of IN. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Burlington on Monday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. A memorial visitation will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
