Obituary of Robert Morgan

Robert F. Morgan, a longtime employee of the Burlington School System, passed away at the Wingate of Lowell Nursing Home on Saturday, October 25, 2008. He was 81 years old. Bob was born, raised and educated in Concord, New Hampshire. He was the son of the late Arthur and Elsie Morgan. Bob was a graduate of Concord High School. After graduating from High School he joined the Navy to fight in World War II. He worked for over 30 years as a Business Manager for the Burlington School System. Bob was very involved in his children’s lives while they were growing up. He was a little league coach in town for over 20 years. Bob was an active man who enjoyed riding bikes, snowmobiling and boating. He also enjoyed playing cribbage, marbles, chess and card games. Bob is the husband of Barbara (Phillips) Morgan of Burlington. He is the loving father of Gail Canales & her husband Robert of Burlington, Robert F. Morgan, Jr. & his wife Laure of Nashua, NH, Philip Morgan of Burlington, Jeffrey Morgan & his wife Rebecca of Burlington, Jennifer Walter & her husband Robert of Westford, and the late Donald Morgan. He is the father-in-law of Robin Morgan of Burlington. He is the brother of the late Pauline Dunckel, Stanley, Wayne, and Arthur Morgan. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. Followed by Funeral Services at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 10 St. Marks Rd., Burlington at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
