Obituary of Henry Dello Russo

Henry J. Dello Russo. A resident of Burlington for 41 years, passed on Monday evening, December 22, 2008. The husband of 50 years of the late Grace A. (Covierllo) who passed away on July 9, he was 74 years old. Hank was born in Boston. He was the son of the late Enrico and Catherine Dello Russo. He was raised and educated in East Boston. Hank had a successful career as a Printer working for AVCO in Everett. He was an avid Boston sports fan following the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. At the age of 7 he began taking piano lessons at the Boston Conservatory. Hank was artistic and musical and loved to play the piano. He was a Third Degree Member of the Burlington Knights of Columbus. Hank’s most important passion in life was his love for his wife Grace, his children, and his grandchildren. Hank is the beloved husband of the late Grace A. (Coviello). He is the loving father of Eric Dello Russo & his wife Andrea of Laguna Niguel, CA, Mary Russo & her husband Fred of N. Andover, David Dello Russo & his wife Betsy of Tewksbury. He is the brother of Josephine Simons of FL, Catherine Festa, Annette, Angelina, and Anthony Dello Russo all of Everett and the late Joseph. He is the grandfather of Bryan, Matt, Jack, Julianna, & Alex Dello Russo and Christopher, Eric, & Michael Russo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, & friends. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, December 29 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment will be private. Memorials in Hank’s name may be made to VNA of Middlesex-East & Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880.
