Obituary of Esther Foster

Mrs. Esther Lillian Foster of Middletown, CT who's tremendous will to live, ended Jan. 16, 2009 at the age of 86. She was born in Boston on Sept. 19, 1922, the daughter of Charles O. and Veretta E. Webber. She was married to the late Warren H. Foster in 1942 who served in the Army for several years. She had a full life as a mother and wife who loved to cook for her family, keep a clean home and was often found with hammer and nails re-designing her home. Her love of traveling, eating in fine restaurants and a large state spoon collection, were one of her many pleasures of life. She is survived by her daughters Sandra Foster of Middletown, CT and Judith Foster McDonald of Las Vegas, NV. She has 4 grandchildren Cheryl, Gene IV and Scotty McDonald, Ashley Foster Winters and her 2 great-grandchildren Macy and Gene McDonald. She also is a loving sister to Marion Burtt, Irvy, Bobby, Kenny Webber, the late Ruth Galway, Roy, Charles and Donnie Webber. She will be missed. Funeral services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Sunday, January 18 at 5:00 PM. Visiting hours Sunday 3 – 5 p.m. Graveside Services will be held at Pine Haven Cemetery, 99 Bedford St., Burlington on Monday, January 19 at 1:30 p.m. Procession leaving the Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m.
