Obituary of Joseph Hurley

Attorney Joseph C. Hurley of Burlington passed at his home on Sunday, February 1, 2009. He was 89 years old. Mr. Hurley grew up in Medford and Somerville, and was a graduate of Boston College and Suffolk University Law School. He settled in Burlington in the 1960’s and established his Law practice, in which he remained active for 40 years. He was a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Boston, an avid golfer, and enjoyed a game of tennis. During retirement, he enjoyed antique shows and his car collection. At Mr. Hurley’s request, funeral services were private. Arrangements were made with the assistance of the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, Burlington, MA.
