Obituary of Marie Ericsson

Marie Ericsson a 20 year resident of Acton, Massachusetts, formerly of Dedham and Dorchester, passed away on Monday February 23 at the Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was 79 years old. Marie was born in Boston, MA the daughter of the late Leroy and Mary Procter. She grew up and was educated in Boston. She had worked as a fitting room clerk at Ames department stores. She enjoyed collecting snowglobes and owls. She was a big Red Sox fan. Marie was the wife of the late Herbert A. Ericsson. She was the mother of Wayne Ericsson of Acton, Nancy Ericsson of Acton, Carl Ericsson of Arizona, and Linda D’Amato of New Bedford, MA. She was the sister of the late George Procter. She was the great grandmother and legal guardian of Michael. She was also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ Church, 344 Cambridge Street, Burlington, on Tuesday, March 3 at Noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment will follow at the Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham. Arrangements under the direction of the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, BURLINGTON.
