Obituary of Robert Kearns
Robert “Bob” M. Kearns, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly at his home, on Thursday evening, April 30, 2009, he would have celebrated his 46th birthday on May 1. Bob was born, raised and educated in Woburn. He worked for Speen & Co. as a Shipper/Receiver as well as the First National and Stop & Shop grocery stores. Bob enjoyed singing Karaoke at both the Asia Grove restaurant in Woburn and the Burlington Marriott. He was an avoid Boston sports fan and he followed the Red Sox, the Celtics, and the Patriots. Bob also enjoyed watching wrestling.
Bob was the beloved son of William & Hazel (Hatfield) of Woburn. He was the loving brother of Barbara Rae of Woburn, Sgt. David Kearns, U. S. Army, Goose Creek, SC, & Susan Ryan of FL. Bob is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews & 3 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, May 5 at 8 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 9 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 6-8 p.m.
