Obituary of William Harrison

William R. Harrison, Jr, a retired New England Telephone employee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. He was 67 years old. William was born in Malden, the son of the late William and Florence Harrison. He grew up in Medford and was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School. He was a long time employee of New England Telephone, where he worked as a supervisor. William was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elks, H.E. Fletcher Club, and Lawrence Irish American Club. He enjoyed playing youth hockey and in later years enjoyed sharing his love of the game as a coach. He was an avid golfer. He enjoyed fishing and spending family vacations in York Maine. William was the father of Michelle Wilkins Bridges of Burlington, William J. Harrison of Lowell, and Christine Forziati of Saugus. Brother of Deborah Bennett of Derry, NH and Barbara Harrison of Goffstown, NH. He was also survived by 4 grandchildren. Funeral services were private.
