Obituary of Dennis Chase

Dennis L. Chase passed away at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on Wednesday May 20, 2009. He was 64 years old. Dennis was born in his family’s home in Burlington and was raised and educated in the town. He was the son of the late Winona Chase. Dennis was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving his country in the United States Army. He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Dennis worked in the DPW Department in the town of Burlington for 32 years. He loved his job and the many friendships he developed through his work. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed bird watching. He was a car enthusiast. Dennis’s family was the most important part of his life. He was a loving husband, father and friend. Dennis was the beloved husband of 29 years of Lee Ann (Mooney). He was the loving father of Dennis of Manchester, NH, Kathleen of Manchester, NH and Laura of Auburn, NH. Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday, May 27 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
