Obituary of Sheryl Itzo

Sherri Itzo passed away in a car accident in Boca Raton, Florida on Monday, May 29, 2006. Sherri had been a resident of Boca Raton for the last 16 years. She was 39 years old. Sherri was born in Woburn. She was the daughter of Ronald and Nancy (Spinetti) Itzo. Sherri was raised and educated in Burlington and was a graduate of the Burlington High Class of 1985. She attended Johnson & Wales College in Rhode Island where she majored in Business Administration. She then went on to work for Coopers & Lybrand in Boston. Sherri took the opportunity to relocate to Florida to expand her professional career. She later moved on to Champions Solutions Group of Boca Raton, Florida to become Chief Technical Officer and later to Southern Wine & Sprits where she was appointed the Director of Enterprise Engineering. In August of 2005, Sherri left the corporate world and achieved her life long dream of owning her own business. She purchased and managed the Diamond Day Spa in Coral Springs, Florida, a full service spa and salon with a staff of thirteen beauty professionals. Sherri will be remembered as a beautiful, talented, and high-spirited woman who had many achievements in her life and brought great joy and pride to her parents, her sister, her brother-in-law, niece, nephew and her many relatives and friends. Sherri will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Sherri is the beloved daughter of Ronald and Nancy (Spinetti) Itzo of Burlington. She is the loving sister of Deborah & her husband James Mungillo of Burlington. Devoted aunt of Kayla and Kyle Mungillo of Burlington. She is the best friend & cousin of Donna Costa of Boca Raton, FL. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Saturday, June 3 at 10 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington. Memorials in Sherri’s name may be made to Children’s Hospital Trust, 1 Autumn St., #731, Boston, MA 02115.
