Obituary of Patricia Borgeson

Patricia K. Borgeson, a lifelong resident of Burlington, passed away at the Bear Hill Nursing Home in Wakefield on Thursday morning, June 4, 2009. She was 84 years old. Patricia was one of 12 children born to, Canadian immigrants, the late William and Kizzie McKinnon. She was raised and educated in Burlington. She was both a homemaker and a store clerk. She provided a loving home for her 5 children. In her later years, she worked as a clerk at Building 19 1/2 department store. She enjoyed her job, coworkers, as well as the convenience of being walk to work. Patricia had a number of interests. She was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed the playing Bingo, but also the entertainment of being together with her girl friends. She enjoyed all sorts of crafts, crocheting, puzzles, and reading. She enjoyed going on vacations. But most importantly, she cherished the time spent with her family and supporting them in their challenges and accomplishments. Patricia was the beloved wife of late Harold J. Borgeson. She was the loving mother of Bruce Borgeson & his wife Lisa of Vero Beach, FL, Karen Stellberger & her husband John of Burlington, Thomas Borgeson of Vero Beach, FL, Peter Borgeson of Burlington, and the late John Borgeson. She was the mother-in-law of Susan Borgeson of Burlington. She was the sister of Edward McKinnon, Ruth Suzedelis, Grace McIntosh, Dorothy Cleary, and the late Mary Humphrey, Cloria Pabst, William, Frank, Donald, Thomas and James McKinnon. She was the loving grandmother of John W. Borgeson, Jr. Kristen Borgeson, and Holly Stellberger all of Burlington. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St. BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, June 8 at 10 a.m. Followed by Funeral Services at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 10 St. Marks Road, Burlington at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 3-6 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, BURLINGTON.
