Francis J. Mahoney of Florida, formerly of Waltham and Cambridge passed away suddenly on June 18, Age 72. Frank a retired MA State Trooper and a U.S. Army Veteran. Devoted husband to Corinne (Squires) Mahoney of 47 wonderful years. Adored father of Frank Mahoney Jr. and his wife Diana of Waltham and Caren (Mahoney) D’Ambrosio and her husband Michael of Wilmington. Cherished “Papa” to Derek, John, Brendan, Daniel, Frankie Mahoney and Michaela and Christina D’Ambrosio. Brother of Mary Rostanzo of Lexington and Paul Mahoney of Harrisburg, PA. Brother-In-Law to Jack Squires and his wife Jean of Burlington. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 29th at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Parish, 111 Winn Street, Burlington, MA 01803. He will be remembered for his booming laugh, brilliant blue eyes, love of life and gift of conversation.
