Obituary of Jessica Treem

Jessica R. Treem, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 25, 2009. She was 31 years old. Jessica was born in Stoneham and raised in Townsend. She was a graduate of Masconomet High School in Topsfield. She worked as an Administrator at John W. Eagan Painting Co. in Newton. Jessica had many interests. She enjoyed gardening, photography, astrology, and reading. She had a passion for her pets and enjoyed vacationing at Lake Winnipesauke. Jessica’s family was very important to her and she loved spending time with her family and friends. The most important role in her life was that of mother to her son Ian. She will be deeply missed for all those who knew and loved her. Jessica is the beloved mother of Ian Duffy. She is the beloved daughter of William Treem & his wife Lynn of Middleton and Nancy (Schultz) Caten & her husband Jack of Townsend. She is the sister of Eric of Newburyport, Caitlyn & Mikayla Treem both of Middleton. She is the stepsister of Jonathan Caten. She is the granddaughter of Lois Treem of Ft. Meyers, FL, Delia Schultz of Cambridge, the late Richard Treem and Stan Schultz. Jessica is the best friend of Bethany Blaney of Newton. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Memorial services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, June 29 at 10 a.m. A Memorial Wake will be held on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers memorials in Jessica’s name may be made to the Ian Duffy Scholarship Fund, c/o Sovereign Bank, 45 Storey Ave., Newburyport, MA 01950.
