Obituary of Louie Mazzola

Louie Anthony Mazzolla, passed away at the Concord Hospice House on Wednesday morning, August 12, 2009. He was 62 years old. Louie was born in Cambridge. He grew up and was educated in Arlington and Burlington. He had been working as a Project Foreman for David Gardner Contracting and Supply Company in Framingham. Previously, he had owned his own commercial roofing company. When he was younger, he had his Master Barber’s license and worked in a barber shop in Waltham. Louie loved the outdoors and all the activities that are associated with it. He was an avid hunter. He enjoyed hunting locally in Clarksville and Pittsburgh, NH as well as in the woods of Vermont and Pennsylvania. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club and the National Rifle Association. He loved sharing enthusiam for the sport with his family and friends. Louie was also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and woodworking. Louie was the loving soulmate of Julie Santos of Weare, NH. He was the beloved father of Karla Mazzola of Burlington, Tiffany Thornton of Salem, NH, Eric Lessard and Brian Santos both of Weare, NH. He was the devoted son of Antonina “Lena” Mazzola of Woburn and the late Astillio. He was the brother of Geraldine Marion & her husband Armand of Burlington. He was the grandfather of Anthony, Mason and Damian and uncle of Amanda, Rebecca & Christopher Marion; Stephanie & Stacey Phillips; Brandon, Jacob & Andrew Gagnon. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Saturday, August 15 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
